The Confetti Company

When Confetti Entertainment Company began in 1991, it was our desire to join the fight against illiteracy in our country. Suffice it to say, we all felt that our survival as a country depended on our children’s ability to step up, compete, and win the day. Education is the key and unfortunately, not enough of our children are adequately grounded in the most basic tool for success: reading.

All of us were parents and involved in some capacity with both education and the entertainment industry, and all of us had, at one time or another, experienced the euphoria and subsequent motivation that comes from reading something that matters. For us, it was time to translate the life-long gifts a love of reading brings, into something tangible. Confetti was born.

Like parents, we babied our child along, making sure it developed slowly, first setting a strong foundation, then broadening its base gradually to include activity guides for parents and assessment tools for teachers — both groups intimately tied to a child’s success in the circle of literacy development. And so we’ve grown, moving from Sherman Oaks to Studio City in 1998, then expanding our warehouse space and shipping facilities to accommodate our growth. In 2005 we became Confetti Enterprises, Inc. and then merged with Sandcastle Publishing LLC in 2010 to more accurately reflect our goals as we move into the future.

Confetti Company products are now shipped worldwide and we are grateful for our loyal friends and supporters who return year after year to introduce the Confetti products to nieces, nephews, grandbabies, and the child next door.  It’s always inspiring for us to meet customers who remember the Confetti Company Kids Song and sing it to us (like we’re likely to forget!). But we love to hear it over and over because “We got the power to be or not to be. Imagination can set you free!”
